CPB® Coding Workshop, Everything you need to know:
Prerequisite
Recommended: Minimum of two years coding experience and coding certification strongly recommended.
CPB® 2-Day Intensive Training
2 days of intensive Certified Professional Biller (CPB®) training. Course is taught with a live CPC-I certified instructor. Individual and group exercises, live billing scenarios, and exam taking techniques are covered in the class.

CPMA® Coding Workshop, Everything you need to know:
Prerequisite
Recommended: Minimum of two years coding experience and coding certification strongly recommended.
CPMA® 2-Day Intensive Training
The student will learn principles of medical auditing. In addition, there will be discussion of key areas of regulations, CIA’s, medical record documentation and chart abstraction. This course is recommended for anyone who is preparing for a career in medical auditing and strongly recommended for anyone who is preparing for the AAPC CPMA certification examination.
Course Objectives
Compliance and Regulatory Guidelines including:
- Define fraud and abuse and explain regulatory guidelines for key regulations
- Explain the impact of the OIG Work Plan and Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIAs)
- List the elements of compliance plans and identify potential compliance risk areas
- Identify National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) and Medically Unlikely Edit (MUE) risk areas
- Identify the purpose of recovery audit contractors and how to prepare for potential RAC audits

CPPM® Coding Workshop, Everything you need to know:
Prerequisite
Recommended: Two years experience in the health care field.
CPPM® 3-Day Practice Management Boot Camp
The Practice Management Training course is designed to prepare the student who has a strong background in the health care industry, or in the medical coding and billing field, to take the next step in advancing their career in practice management. This course will also prepare the student for the AAPC’s CPPM® certification examination.
This course will discuss the requirements of managing the revenue cycle, compliance regulations, human resources, health information, and general business processes make practice management a challenging yet rewarding profession.
Course Objectives
- Recognize the various levels of providers, places of service, and the patient-care flow process
- Develop techniques for effective communication with physicians and staff
- Become familiar with major concepts of quality in healthcare
- Basic understanding of corporate governance structures
- Gain a basic understanding of basic principles of structuring an effective chart of accounts for accounting accuracy
